From hospitals to racetracks, from prison cells to cruise ships, Chaplains are ministering in places where churches often cannot go. Chaplains bring the presence of God into every situation and circumstance imaginable; bringing the light of Christ into a hurting and dark world. The Florida Baptist Convention provides training, networking and fellowshipping opportunities for career and volunteer Chaplains.

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. II Corinthians 1:3-4
