Partnering Together to Advance the Gospel<\/h2>\n

Sharing the eternal life changing power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the purpose and mission of every Florida Baptist Church. We have been given ONE Gospel message to share with those who God has placed in our lives. One Gospel message that has the power to change nearly 8 billion individuals that currently inhabit planet earth and the 33+ million individuals that call Florida their home. How will they hear about our Jesus if we, the children of God, do not share the eternity changing truth that Jesus loves them and has an incredible plan for their lives? The task of sharing the Gospel with 8 billion people is too large for one person or for one church family to accomplish; however, it is NOT too large for the ONE body of Christ to accomplish working together.<\/p>\n

Working together we form partnerships that enable us to carry out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) of our Lord Jesus Christ. The churches of the Florida Baptist Convention have partnered with Southern Baptist mission organizations, groups, agencies and especially with other churches to be successful in answering the call of our Lord to be on His mission. We ask every Florida Church member to join together by being on His mission. Listed below are some avenues that if you chose to participate in will take you directly to His mission fields. Make a decision to BE ON MISSION BY PRAYING, GIVING, GOING and CELEBRATING.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

BE ON MISSION BY PRAYING. The greatest avenue that God has given us to being on mission is by having the privilege of talking with Him. We receive the who, what, where and the how of our mission task by going directly to our Lord Jesus Christ for His daily instructions. By praying we are directly asking the Holy Spirit to prepare us to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord and to directly guide us to our assigned place of service. Daily praying for the mission we have been blessed and entrusted with gives us the clarity of our Kingdom assignment and purpose.<\/p>\n

Prayer is the mission activity that allows the child of God to be global in their mission activities every single day. We are given the privilege of praying for individuals in our Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and even to the ends of the earth. Being on mission by praying has NO (age, health, financial, safety, gender, education) restrictions! Make a Kingdom decision to daily be on mission by praying.<\/p>\n

Listed below are prayer prompts that will direct you in being on mission by praying. These prayer prompts will be updated either daily, weekly or monthly from the Florida Baptist Convention, North American Mission Board, Send Relief, International Mission Board and other Southern Baptist mission organizations.
